YOUR FEAR SCORE

Before we deploy a single strategy or set a new boundary, we must first assess the terrain of our emotional landscape. This exercise isn't about judgment; it's a vital act of intelligence gathering — identifying precisely where fear is concentrated and how it has compromised your integrity. I know firsthand that naming the pain is the first step toward reclaiming your power. Use this exercise to quantify the cost of fear in your life so you can begin to budget your strategic energy.
Purpose
This exercise will help you identify the ways fear shows up in your life — emotionally, physically, socially, spiritually, and financially — so you can gain clarity on how much fear may be limiting your growth, well-being, and communication.
Instructions
For each statement, rate yourself from 0 (Never true for me) to 4 (Always true for me). Then calculate your score for each section and total them for your overall Fear Score.
EMOTIONAL & COGNITIVE FEAR
I imagine worst-case scenarios.
I replay fears in my mind even when no immediate danger exists.
Fear impairs my ability to relax or concentrate.
PHYSICAL FEAR
I experience tension, headaches, or stomachaches linked to worry.
Fear causes my heart to race, my palms to sweat, or my muscles to tense.
I notice fatigue or trouble sleeping when I'm anxious.
SOCIAL & RELATIONSHIP FEAR
I avoid speaking up because I'm afraid of judgment or rejection.
Fear leads me to misinterpret others' intentions.
I withdraw from people when I feel insecure.
SPIRITUAL FEAR
I cling tightly to my group or beliefs when I feel afraid.
Fear drives me toward rigid or "black-and-white" thinking.
I struggle to align my beliefs with compassion and love when fear is strong.
FINANCIAL FEAR
Fear makes me overly cautious, keeping me from taking wise risks.
Fear drives me toward impulsive or reckless money choices.
Financial insecurity causes me anxiety about my worth.
